Flash.ocx Error

Hi,
I hope you are all doing well today. I am running the Vista Home Premium 64-Bit OS. The problem I am havig is that I an trying to run a software application and I get "This program requires a missing Windows component
This program requires flash.ocx, which is no longer included in this version of Windows" I have reinstalled Adobe Flash 10 but when I try to run sofware application I still get this error message and I can't seem to get the software to work properly.
Isnyonefamiliar with this who could tell me how to fix it?
Any help Would be very much appreciated.
