Red vertical lines fill my monitor

Device manager and diagnostics indicate all drivers are good, but all the white spaces in the screen are filled with red vertical lines that remain even after adjusting resolution.

Any suggestions appreciated

Pc is stil relatively new HP Pavilion DV7 with ATI Radeon HD 3200
