Hi, I am new to the forum, I am putting together a new bare bones unit to replace my HP which has quit, my question is how do I transfer my old hard drive including my vista o/s? The new unit does not have an o/s as yet.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to install the new vista OS to you new HDD. You cannot trasfer the OS to the new HDD. However, you can trasfer the files copy it CD or any USB memory device.
