enable or install ATI graphic adapter ?

hey iam haveing problems with this error message "enable or install ATI graphic adapter" where to i go about downloading this? i have had a problem like this before but that was a while ago and dont remember.

You cannot install a graphic card on a laptop after it is already manufactured.

In desktops, the graphic card is a separate hardware component which needs to be attached in the PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard.

However, in laptops, the graphic card is a GPU chip which is soldered to the motherboard during the manufacturing phase.
