where to i find "enable graphic adapter"

hey iam haveing a problem trying to find the ATI adapter download, my computer crashed and sadly had to reboot it, this happened before but this time i dont remember where to go, i have try downloading ATI graphic driver, but when i would start to install it, it would say "enable graphic adapter" i dont know where to go to download it, i have spent 3 hours looking and still no luck =/

Enabling a graphics adapter is not a complicated process, and will take you only a minute or so to accomplish.

Open the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel" to open the Control Panel window.
Select "System Maintenance" followed by "Device Manager" to open a window with a list of all the installed devices on your computer.
Expand the "Display Adapter" section of devices by clicking on the "+" sign next to the entry.
Right-click the graphics adapter you wish to enable and select "Enable" from the drop-down menu. The graphics adapter will now be enabled. You may have to restart your computer before the change can take effect.
