Canon Pixma MP540 won't scan
Can anybody shed some light on this please? I bought my printer scanner 2 weeks ago but I can't get it to scan to the pc. I does everything else it is supposed to do. It will scan to a memory stick and flash card. When asked to scan from the MP Navigator 2.0 program the error is, "Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable maybe disconnected or scanner maybe turned off etc.".
I run Vista HP SP2 32 bit with 3GB ram on an Intel Pentium(R) D CPU 3GHz.
The scanner will work OK on my daughters laptop running XP and my wife's laptop running Windows 7.
All very strange.  |
