Computer ate my disc

I tried burning some pictures onto a disc with Vista. Now
1. I can't get the disc out- Manually (With a pin) all it does is rev up and down but won't eject) Software explorer dies when I hit eject.
2. When I click on "My Computer" it takes forever to come up, then can't do anything with disc.
3. Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but at same time having problems getting online- also takes long time.
Anyone have clue??????????

Already had to fix the dissappearing DVD drive when I added an external drive. Sure love Vista, but miss using my computer.

You should check 4 viruses on ur computer because this has happened 2 times with ur dvd drive and that ur computer is very slow. Try using system restore.
It could also be a hardware fault meaning that you need to dimatle your drive or get a new cd rooom that is GOOD QUALITY. The wiriteable cd may have screwed up your cd drive causing your computer to slow down while it loads the pooftus information that the cd drive is sending the computer.
Above all get a new cd dirive that is good quality and install it yourself: never trust computer sevices shops. And get a scan of your computer for virisues.
