MWF has stopped working

I have windows vista. I have been trying to install a program and it was previously saying that the "Microsoft (C) Register Server has stopped working". i looked at other peoples thread to try out what they did. I tried this one " RE: Microsoft (C) Register Server has stopped working " and it seemed to have worked and allowed me to atleast install the program i was trying to install. except now when i try to open it, it says the 'MWF has stopped working, program must be closed????'

Does anyone know what i can try to fix this?
