My cddvdw won't work
Hi,
I am having problems with my cddvdw drive, can't burn any cd's or dvds, but I can play cds..sometimes. I've tried a few things, like uninstall and reinstall, updating driver but it says I have the most current driver. I've updated my BIOS, and I've gone into regedit and deleted the Upper and lower filters, which I then could play cds but still can't write to anything. Does anyone know what the solution to the problem is? This is what I have for info fron my problem reports and solutions thingy. I have Vista Home Premium 32bit on a Compaq CQ50-110US
Thanks for the help!

Re: My cddvdw won't work
I just need to add now that I have uninstalled all Apple programs, not just itunes, and still am having the same issue. I once again uninstalled and reinstalled the driver etc. and still the same problem. I did a system restore to earlier today since none of the installs helped. I am not having any issues with any thing else on this computer so I am really hoping someone has some new solutions to all this. Once again Many THANKS to any and all who can help!
