vista won't recognize my DCR-HC21 Mini handycam

ok here's the deal. I've had this camera for a few years now, and during that time I've lost the A/C adapter and the original battery, and the mini dv cable. All i have is a new battery and a USB cable.

Here's my problem, when I plug my camera in (using USB) my computer recognizes that there is a new device attached. However i have no driver for it. I can't pull the video from the camera. Does anyone please have some ideas.

Have you gone to the manufactures website and looked if they have a Vista driver for your camera?
