USB Problem
Hi,
Currently, I have a PC running 64-bit Vista Ultimate. I received this PC new last month, with SP1 already installed. Shortly after receiving it, I used an external USB drive to create a backup image. All worked well.
Two days ago, I attempted to create a new backup image using the same USB drive, and now I find that Vista does not respond in any way to the insertion of the USB cable into any of the USB ports on my PC! I know that the drive works, because I've tested it on another PC. I've also tried changing the cable.
In addition, none of my USB ports respond to my thumb drive, either. Has anyone else seen this problem, and if so, do you know of a solution?
