hi, everytime i place any kind of disc into my dvd drive it wont read i went to device maager and it says thatWindows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) i need help please by the way this is for any problem when ur cd drive is not reading a disc any disc do the following below

hahah i found the solution to fix it my self from this guy
1. Choose Start > Run.
2. Type regedit in the Open text box and click OK.
3. In the Registry Editor dialog box, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class and select the {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} key, which appears as a folder.
4. Select File > Export (Windows XP) or Registry > Export Registry File (Windows 2000).
5. In the Export Registry File dialog box, select Selected Branch under Export Range, name the file (for example, CDDVDkey.reg), and click Save to save the file to the Desktop.
6. In the right panel of the Registry Editor, select the LowerFilters line, and then choose Edit > Delete. Click Yes in the Confirm Key Delete dialog box.
7. Select the UpperFilters line, and then choose Edit > Delete. Click Yes in the Confirm Key Delete dialog box.
8. Close the Registry Editor.
9. Restart Windows.

Mazin,

I'm struggling with the same issue, I have a TS - H653U and does the same, had already recovered twice to restore the DVD functionality however, everytime I update the system with windows update, and load other programs like Adobe 9.0, my Epson V100 Scanner and java 6.11, the thing goes off, cannot read anything and the legends you mention below come up.

Please let me know if you can share the fix with me.

Me to but for the following:

TSST corp CD/DVDW TS-L632D ATA Device - This device cannot start. (Code 10)

i dont really get it when it start to number 6...can u plz make it more detail? or use some alternative word...i mean typically for the "LowerFiltersine" and UpperFiltersline"...any help would be kindly appreciated ty
