No sound from my browsers.

Hello everyone. I just recently bought the Microsoft Lifecam vx-1000 and when I installed the software everything was going fine. When I opened up Firefox and went to youtube, there was no sound at all. There is no sound from Firefox or IE. My speakers are working fine because when I play a song with windows media player there are no problems whatsoever. Help would be much appreciated.
