Vista Will Not Recognize/Format External Drive
Running Vista with a 500GB WD My Book which i lent to a friend with Mac OSX
Got it back and my computer will not recognize the thing
The drivers install fine, and my computer is aware of external hardware, but the drive cannot be accessed
It does appear in Disk Management as "unknown Disk 1" but will not initialize
I have given up on trying to save any of the files on the thing, all i want is to format it back to normal
Can anyone help with alternative methods? Or is this thing scrap
