Scientists Exploit Bacterial Laziness to Beat Disease
By engineering less-virulent, lazier versions of bacteria, scientists have discovered a way to overwhelm normal, infectious bacteria. The technique could help treat AIDS patients and burn victims and may be a way to fight drug-resistant infections.
