Obama Invokes State Secrets in Spy Case
The Obama administration invoked the state secrets privilege in a closely watched spy case, making it the second time this week the new administration sought to dismiss lawsuits it inherited from the Bush administration in the name of national security. Civil rights groups had hoped President Barack Obama would have changed course from his predecessor.
