Verizon says GSM carrier can buy CDMA carrier

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A Verizon Communications Inc. chief operating officer, Dennis Strigl, said on Thursday that a telecommunications carrier using GSM network technology could buy a carrier using CDMA technology.
