House Dems Reject Telecom Amnesty, Propose Commission to Investigate Spying
House Democrats are not looking to compromise on new spying legislation, and instead are suggesting a new way to keep privacy lawsuits against telecoms in federal court and proposing a commission to investigate Bush's secret warrantless wiretapping program.
