I had a Dell desktop running XP Pro with 160gb hard drive. Total hard drive capacity used was about 20gb. Motherboard went down so I bought a Dell Studio running Vista Home. 500gb HD but before I installed any software the capacity left on the drive was only 380gb.
How can this be the case between operating systems?
