Bing Versus Google

Hello,

I just registered this forum while surfing and I’m curious about what you think about Bing.
According to some news it already started to overtake Yahoo. But it seems to me they can’t beat Google. I think more creative ideas and some vision is needed to overtake Google.

Besides of that there’s adsense and adword industry. Google is creative and established firm, Bing brings nothing new to us.

If Google creates linux based operating system, maybe they can overtake Microsoft?

Indeed Bing is doing well since its launch. There are a few reasons for this, one is obviously curiosity, another is that MS sent out an update in which IE6 forced users to have Bing as their default search site, see IE6 forcing Bing as default search engine | Beyond Binary - CNET News

I like the way Bing shows you some text from the page right beside the search listing.

Google got its name from everyone saying its the best place to find things. If Bing gets a name for being a good place to find things then it will be able to eat away at Google's domination.

Bing is doing good as of now but I think it would be hard for Bing to overtake Google. I myself is very much comfortable of using google because they are accurate when it comes to searches but its too early to say though.

Havent heard of Bing either until I saw that it was my sister's default browser. I use google most of the time. I noticed though that bing is kinda cool. Homepage image changes every day
