Star Trek Armada doesn't run properly
Searching other forums, i found that Star Trek Armada, an older game, experiences an indexing error when it passes 2GB RAM and this causes the game to run really slowly. My system has 4GB. There is a solution, but it is specific to Windows XP: edit boot.ini so the system boots up with only 2GB RAM. Problem: Vista doesn't use a boot.ini file, and I can't find any Vista solutions on any of the other gaming forums.
How can I trick Windows Vista into booting with only 2GB RAM so I can play Star Trek Armada?
