Games running slower. Also W.E.I. has dropped.

I can only play my games for about 5 minutes before they slow down to the point where i can't play them. Something like this happened before where i had to disable an unused network adapter, but this is not the case this time. I also notice that when I went to check my Windows Experience Index it prompted me to update my score, because it had detected hardware changes, but I haven't made any hardware changes. My Graphics score went from a 5.9 to a 2.0, so something must be wrong, right? I've tried disabling Windows Aero, System Restore, full Virus scan, and updating drivers, but to no avail. My games worked 24 hours ago. Is there something I need to do?
