games slowdown problem

i cna play my games normally for bout 5-10 minutes and then im gettig this slowdown moment and after that there is a speed up moment. its really annoying and it disturbs my game play. i didnt have this problem before.

AMD Phenom X4 2,2GHz
Ati Radeon HD 3850 512mb
3gb ram (i have 4gb but it reserved to integrated geaphic card. i think)
Window vista home premium 32-bit.

Often this is related to some kind of clockdown because of overheating, perhaps you got some dust in there? might want to clean it! Or if not, it could still be software related, if all fails reformat the system.

Today i cleaned my computer. Dust was blocking my grpahic card cooling system and it caused overheating after bout 5 min. WHen b4 normal tmep was 60 and gaming temp was 113 then now inormal is 53 and gmaing is 83. and also my CPU temp fell form 39 to 33. So it was a dust problem.

Do you know how long I have been looking for a solution to this problem? I have been running registry optimization programs, killing half of my start up stuff thinking I'm having low memory problems. Spyware killers, etc and all the time it was bloody dust. Cheers.
