Recommend Action RPG Games

I'm playing Borderlands at the moment with a friend and am LOVING it!

But I need another game to play single player so what would people suggest in the Action RPG niche?

Gears of war is another one of my favorites because of the game-play but doesn't have the RPG aspect... Also just finished splinter cell and am looking forward to the next due to the strategy involved... can be frustrating sometimes though!

I used to be into fantasy type games like Diablo but haven't found any to be all that great on 360... yet...

See if they have Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 1 & 2 for Xbox. They were entertaining hack'n'slash rpg's for PS2. Also Champions of Norath and I think one called Demonwind? No, Demonstone. The only thing I didn't like about those games was that the maps were so linear... not too much flexibility in the gameplay. If you have dosbox and like old games try Star Control 2 - one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. Best dialogue, great storyline, very open ended (you can finish the game even if you piss just about everybody off, but having allies makes it a bit easier and gives you more time to finish the game)
