Using Halo - Combat Evolved on a Vista PC

I have just bought a copy of Halo-Combat Evolved. Will it work on a Vista machine? It only says up to XP.

Maddy, CE will work fine on a veesta machine. I still play my mine all the time.
warning though... make sure that the copy you install is a clean one as veesta won't let you fix bad maps etc. good luck and have fun!!

Some here I tried that and the usual control panel stuff that it can but I'm not entirely sure hope it can cause i want it and i have vista Yes Halo: Combat Evolved is playable on Vista 32bit and 64bit version machines I currently run vista 64bit and it plays great!Now this is the PC version of the Halo game, and i'm running a windows vista ultimate as my operating system, and 2gbs ram, and a 256mbs nvidia geforce graphics card.I just installed Halo Combat Evolved, and well when I played campaign in other words against the computer, everything runs alright.But then when I choose the multiplayer section to play online, it gets the update from the net, and it automatically gets the latest patch, then it tells me to enter the halo cd, and restart the game, and it literally won't work. It keeps telling me for the cd, while the cd is inside.
