Fable

I'm a real Fable fan and I'm gutted that it won't work with Vista. I'm running on Vista Home Premium. Anyone got any tips?

What Video Card do you have.

Microsoft seems to think that it should work.

What error do you get when you try to run Fable and lets see if we can get it to work for you.

Hi Steve,

My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GO 7600 - I think it's 512MB - if not 256MB.

I don't get an error message. The game installs fine and I then see the Fable Image that you should at the start of the game. Then the screen goes black and there's nothing on the screen at all - the sound seems fine - but no graphics at all on the screen. I couldn't get anything on the screen and in the end I had to hit the windows button and stop the game.

The game's uninstalled at the moment - so if you've any suggestions I can start from scratch.

Someone mentioned that I should try running it as administrator (which I am) but I'm not entirely sure how I do this.

Hello, I have a similar problem, It will run, but the monitors will stop responding for a couple of seconds then turn back randomly, I can hear the sound and everything but nothing else
No error appears.
I have a HP pavilion 2gb ram
NVIDIA Geforce Go 7600 dedicated memory 512mb, total available graphics memory 768mb...ForceWare is 98.15...DirectX 10...
and shuld be all the latest drivers(not sure though)
I hope someone has bright ideas

I thing it have to do something with nVidia drivers. I've read in some forums that if run the game in save mode and set the effects to min it work fine.
