I have researched this thoroughly and have eliminated tons of possibilities, so I hope there is someone out there that can HELP. I have some docked sidebar gadgets, however, I have two gadgets that I have removed from the sidebar and put on the desktop because they show more information that way like the weather gadget and notes undocked gives me more space for longer notes. The problem is the two gadgets that are on my desktop move/creep to the left after switching from user to user or upon a reboot. I have to keep dragging them back to the right which is frustrating. I have a great Dell warranty so they replaced the video card and monitor in attempt to see if this solves the problem, NOPE. The video card driver has been updated in fact the newest one is only a week old! so that's not the problem. What the heck makes these gadgets move?????? There is NO settings to fix their positions, so don't suggest that. Please let me know if there is a fix for this, it is driving me crazy!

Hello guys new here

I have just installed a bluetooth adapter, basically just to send the odd couple of "photos and music files" over a mobile phone

So i have not installed the included software with the adapter.

The adapter driver is showing in device manager, and so is "microsoft bluetooth enumerator"

Is this some sort of bluetooth stack that microsoft uses with the adapter to give you basic services or protocols.....

Windows vista

I listen to streaming radio (m3u) files.
with the last update either the large one in October or the one in early november, I cant stream any radio stations anymore. (I didnt steam radio in the past 6-8 weeks)
If a test case is required: try German radio stations streaming live on the internet - Listen online and try any 128kps radio station. while WMP starts and shows the nice bubbles and waves it does not play any of the stations anymore since the last up-grade. I only up-grade what is required (either security or bug fixes).
Granted I didn't want to make WMP the default after the upgrade. My default is something else.

Some hints are appreciated.

Thanks....

Hi there,

When I was installing Office 2007, my laptop hung half way through the installation and I had to restart. I sucessfully installed Office the second time round, however when I try to use CHKDSK now it will not run and comes up with the error 0xc0000022. Since the Office installation I no longer have any restore points. I have tried the command:

CACLS %systemroot%\System32\*.dll /E /G BUILTIN\Users:R

And it either simply doesn't work or tells me Access Denied.

I've tried SFC/ scannow and nothing has changed.

I've tried hitting F8 on restart and going to Startup Repair but it can't find any problems. On the same screen I have tried to run CHKDSK however it tells me that the disk cannot not be locked and it will schedule a scan on restart, however CHKDSK does not open when I restart the computer. I'm totally stumped! Please please help if you have any ideas.

Thanks in advance,

Thom

P.S Everything else seems to be running pretty much fine
