On a newer computer, I installed the downloaded drivers correctly and the scanner works, except, the quality of the scan is bad. I think it is because I did not correctly calibrate the scanner at install, a part of the installation. I don't know how, within the MS Scanner software to calibrate the scanner after the initial install. My computer operates on a Home Premium 32 bit system and I use a hp deskjet 1280 which works fine with programes like word and adobe but I can get my AutoCAD 2008 to plot to this printer.

It says there is a problem and that I can change settings in the control panel but when I try to change any settings it tells me some function address caused a protection fault.
