Problems installing/uninstalling programs

My account is set as the System Adminstrator for my PC, however when I attempt to intall or uninstall programs I get a Windows Installer error message "System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation".
I do not know where to go next. This is happpening now when I try to install winzip 15.5 and I also get the error message trying to until other software via Control Panel-Programs and Features.

Any ideas??

Problem resolved by temporarily switching off UAC from User Accounts/Control Panel.

Don't forget to swirtch back on.
