can someone please reccomend a free driver updater?

i have googled and researched and the only absolutely free ones i have found has had warnings for various things. I'm new to all this and any help is appreciated. i just want to find a free updater that i wont have to pay for if one does exist. thanks in advance. also i forgot to mention im using vista 64bit.

Another alternative would be free online scanners? I have used these before with great satisfaction and they are safe to use as in "no malware"
