new upgrade to Vista ultimate dropping dvd drivers
has anyone encountered the issue where a working dvd/driver config just stopped working. now every time I launch I get the ! dvd driver not installed. tried uninstalling and hardware search have tried looking for drivers on line only to find that the common driver is the microsoft dvd driver. went and bought a new dvd/cdrom writer and that is recognised
correctly but the driver will not install
mother board Intel D975xbx
core 2 duo
dvd drive (was sony dvd/cdrom -r -rw)
now is LG mulit drive dh22
vista ultimate sp1
any suggestions welcome
