R 300 Display Driver

Hi all,

A little problem keeps occurring, I have the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M Graphics card in my Packard Bell Easynote MZ36 Laptop. Every time I try to play a DVD or downloaded video clip, after a minute or so the display crashes and I get a message in the task tray stating that the "R 300 Display Driver has stopped working and has recovered". This is annoying to say the least! I have installed the latest driver from ATI but it still happens , can anyone help.

P.S. If any one can help can help could it be explained in plain English as I am pretty much a novice still.
