I fitted one now so long ago to tame my overclocked Quad Core.
I'm not sure i can trust the system readings though, core temperatures are reported as hovering about 60'C, ambient is around 46'c, the physical temperature of the cooler system is only just above room temp though and i dont see anyway of changing it as its code is in the BIOS.
