no audio device installed

I recently went on a deleting spree on my computer and now have no sound on my computer and it is telling me i have no audio device at all. I would like to know if there is some way i can get it back without having to replace the audio card that is already in my laptop.

Most likely you deleted the driver for the sound card in your laptop during your spree. You either need to re-install the driver from a disc or you need to look up the audio card manufacturer and see if you can download the driver from their website.

I agree with cacs, its because of the deletion of driver in your sound card. You can either download the driver from the website or re-install the driver from the disc.
