Re: The latest update of Windows Disabled my Microsoft keyboard
We need to know *which* updates you're referring to.

So, either open Add/Remove Programs on both systems in the Control
Panel, ensure the " Show updates " box is checked towards the top right,
then scroll down to ' Windows XP - Software updates ' and check to see
which ones installed recently or, open the WindowsUpdate.log on both
systems [located in WINDOWS] and check the date the updates installed to
see which ones installed recenty [the most recent entiries are at the
*bottom* of the WU.log], OR, show hidden files, folders, and system
files: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...l62.html#winxp
and then navigate to WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution.
Open the ReportingEvents.log and scroll all the way to the bottom to see
which recent updates installed successfully.

Please post back with the specific KB numbers of the most recently
installed updates.
