Just read a web page listing which version of Vista has which features and
then had a heart attack.

I will have to pay about $400 for the Ultimate version just to get some
basic features that I will need.

Only the uber expensive Ultimate version of Vista has basic Windows Fax and
Scan included. To me that is BS as everybody needs this every day feature
AFAIAC.

I would also like the image backup and recovery feature and this should be
in all versions to help all Vista owners back up an image of their hard
drive. But Noooo, it is again only available in the $400 Ultimate version.

Somebody please tell me this is not correct.

If it is then it looks like I will stick with XP. Honestly...$400?!? Cmon.
