Vista Ultimate, SP1 took away my wi-fi and battery icons
My OQO 02 (a mobile PC) came with Vista Ultimate pre-installed. Being mobile, I keep an eye on my wi-fi signal strength and battery power level. So, I had those two icons configured to always show in the Notification Area (System Tray).
After installing SP1 last week, I noticed that my two favorite icons were gone. Not only are they no longer showing, they are not in the list to hide or show.
After checking device properties, Notification Area properties, and searching the web for an answer, I have un-installed SP1, but these two icons are nowhere to be found.
No, I don't have a restore point to go to. Yes, I can re-install from DVD, but I'd rather not.
