I have been yelled at for top-posting: so I reply here to the WINVER advice;
i ran winver: it reports Vista 6.000.
I went to Windows Update for SP1, and it told me I should be an administrator.
I am.
Re WinMail: I started the thread on two or three places: no one has any
answer, except Gary Vandermoulen, who advises throw WinMail out the Windows.
I do not have Norton or McAfee. I have AVG.
I have now installed all Updates available, except one KB937287.
It appears SP1 is not via the regular Windows Updates, but is a separate
install?
Winmail is now OK: i uninstalled KB933928 again. ( and again..... : I am
planning to move to Outlook XP (which is installed:-) ) but Vista can make
one very nervous)
Thanks everyone
Mohan
