Build Number for Vista SP1 Refresh
Hi,
I installed SP1, supposedly the "Refresh 1" version, using the "Method 2" instructions here:
Download details: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RC Public Availability Program

However I see elsewhere, the build numbers listed as follows:
* Windows Vista SP1 RC Refresh (Build 17128) – released 01/11/08
* Windows Vista SP1 RC (Build 17052)– released 12/13/07

The logo appearing on my desktop, lower right corner, says "Evaluation copy: build 6001", which doesn't match either of the above.

Does this mean the wrong version of SP1 got installed, or was this number just not updated properly? I find it a little suspicious because I noticed the "Physical Memory Free" number in Task Manager is exactly the same after installing SP1 as before.

Should I de-install SP1 and try installing it again?
