Hi Greg,

ipall2.txt shows the problem all right and it may have nothing to do with Vista.

It looks like the modem is passing the address 0.0.0.0 to Vista as the Default Gateway which means that any network related traffic is being sent to 0.0.0.0 to get out on to a Local Network or the Internet. It should show 192.168.2.1 which is the address of your Modem.

The way to forward with this is to ring your ISP and tell them that you are using Vista and that the modem they sent out is setting 0.0.0.0 as the default gateway and you cannot connect to the Internet.

What is the Make and Model of your new Modem?

Can you get to the configuration page of the modem by going to http://192.168.2.1 in your browser ( when you can connect to the Internet ) and then there should be a reading saying what the Firmware version is. Can you tell me what it is.

regards

Steve
