i960 sharing on VISTA
So it sounds like you solved the problem I'm struggling with.
I have a VISTA x64 machine with i960 attached. It's shared and "Additional drivers" dialog show only x64 driver installed.
I also have XP Pro laptop, that used to have this printer attached to it. So it's still has the right driver for i960.
When I try to add i960 as a network driver to my XP laptop, the printer is visible on the VISTA machine. When I select it,it says something to the effect that it tried to install the driver, but correct version of the driver for XP was not found on the VISTA machine.
It then offers me to try to find driver myself. At this point I tried pointing it at the original package for i960 for XP that I have and the latest i960 driver from Canon from their website. But both are rejected by installer.
I tried using both of these packages to add additional driver on Vista, but they are rejected there also.
Canon site doesn't have a VISTA driver, it only has an "add-on" package.
So what did you do to get this working?

Thanks
