You cannot retrieve or reset a user account password in Vista. There are
third party solutions for this.

I recommend this program. The price is very reasonable and it is easy to
use, even for a novice.

If you are using a fingerprint reader, the software for this device may have
an option to reset or retrieve the password. Check the documentation for
that program.
