If I have my hard drive formatted as "c" and "d" with XP on C, can I simply
install Vista on D and at some point get prompted if I want to setup dual
boot?

I want to start using Vista but can't utilize all of my XP programs so,
until updates etc are available for all my software, I need to retain the
ability to use XP.
