Re: What is the best Anti-Virus For Vista?
I would persoanlly avoid OneCare. Not just a matter of the rating but
the fact that it will not let you really configure it effiecently. For
example I run a serious hardware firewall for my network. The OneCare
firewall is a pain in the butt so I turn it off. However by doing this
OneCare is now screaming at me all the time my system is not secure. You
cannot just turn of the features you do not want without the system
being unhappy.
AVG, Grisoft, Nod32, Kaspersky, Trendmicro, Bitdefender
All of these support 64 Bit Vista. I really like the Kaspersky thought
I know many that also like trendmicro and Bitdefender. However with AVG
and Avast being free it is really hard to suggest anyone BUY an AV
package.
