Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Computer Management. Select Disk
Management. Is the drive listed in there? It may just need formatted or
partitioned.

Is it a new hard drive, or have you used it before? You might also hit F5
when in the Computer folder. Sometimes, it puts it off the screen where you
can't see it.
