At least with respect to my scanners, HP stopped supporting them long ago.
There are not even drivers available for XP and, according to the HP
website, there will not be Vista drivers for them. I don't know how Vuescan
works under XP, but this may be an instance in which obsolete hardware can
run under Vista, but not XP.
