If you really mean "Outlook" you are in the wrong newsgroup.
The newsgroup to which you posted is for the Windows Mail program.
You are more likely to find Outlook experts in the Outlook newsgroup.
If you meant Windows Mail, read on:
Your email address @q.com indicates a Hotmail-type address issued
by Qwest. You can set that up in Windows Mail by following these
instructions:

Use port 587 rather than port 25 for the SMTP server.
