Dymo Label Writer 400 Werkt perfect alleen de invoegtoepassingen in word
Excel en Outlook worden niet geïnstalleerd op mijn Vista machine met Office
XP Hieronder alle aangedragen suggesties van de Helpdesk van DYMO Wie weet
iets dat ik over het hoof heb gezien. (Op mijn laptop met XP werkt alles wel
perfect)

How to install the Add-In in Outlook 98/2000/XP

Answer:
The Outlook Add-In is normally installed at the same time that DYMO Label
Software is installed and a small LabelWriter button will appear in the main
toolbar of Microsoft Outlook.
If the Microsoft Outlook option was not selected, the DYMO Label Software
will need to be reinstalled, making sure that the Add-In for Microsoft
Outlook box is checked.
None of your existing files will be changed.
If the LabelWriter button does not appear in the Outlook toolbar
automatically, the Outlook Add-In in Outlook 98/2000/XP, must be enabled
manually.
Enabling the Outlook 98/2000/XP Add-In manually
1. Click the Options command from the Tools menu in Outlook.
The Options dialog box appears.
2. Click the Other tab.
3. Click the Advanced Options button.
The Advanced Options dialog box appears.
4. Click the Add-In Manager button.
5. Check the DYMO LabelWriter item in the Add-In Manager list.
Hint: it might be necessary to scroll down the list to display this item. If
DYMO LabelWriter does not appear, click the Install button and then select
from the list of files.
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK in each of the opened dialog boxes.
8. Exit from Outlook and then restart Outlook.

The Add-In adds a LabelWriter button to the Outlook 98, 2000, or XP toolbar
and adds the DYMO LabelWriter Print command to the Tools menu.
Click the DYMO LabelWriter button to print labels.
The Outlook Add-In works in the Contacts section of Outlook 98, 2000, and
XP.

MIJN ANTWOOORD
Ik heb dus geen icoontje binnen de applicaties (Word/Excel en Outlook) op
mijn Vista machine. Die heb ik dus wel op mijn Laptop met XP SP3. En verder
natuurlijk dezelfde Office XP (Enterprise voor meerdere licenties)

MIJN ANTWOORD
Er gaat ogenschijnlijk niets mis. In de bijlage het scherm wat te zien is na
het plaatsen van de CD. Druk je op de knop Nederlands dan begint het
programma met het installeren. Het scherm wordt dan beeldvullend met grote
tekst DYMO en een minischerm waar alle zaken die verricht worden voorbij
flitsen. Na enige tijd komt het volgende scherm waar gevraagd wordt of ik de
keuze wil maken tussen een netwerk of USB aansluiting Hierbij kies ik dan de
USB aansluiting. Dan gaat het programma weer verder met de drivers te
installeren. Het volgende scherm is de opdracht sluit u printer aan op een
vrije USB aansluiting. Na enige tijd komt de melding dat de installatie
gereed is en sluit het hoofdscherm.
Er wordt tijdens de hele procedure dus nergens iets gevraagd over add/in of
een foutmelding gegeven.

To manually install DYMO Office Add Ins - for Vista (note that Word, Outlook
and Excel files are installed together. They cannot be seperately
installed):

1. Close all Office applications.
2. Go to Start and type in cmd (do not press enter!)
The cmd program is found.
3. Right-click cmd and select 'Run as Administrator'.
The CMD Prompt dialog box is displayed
4. Type regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\DYMO Label\DymoOfficeAddIn.dll"
and press Enter.

Note: C:\Program Files\DYMO Label\DymoOfficeAddIn.dll is the default
location. If DLS was installed in another location, than this file path has
to be
changed accordingly.

E.g. for non-English Windows systems: You must also replace Program Files
with the name of the Program Files directory in your native language.
E.g. for German windows system:
regsvr32 "C:\Programme\DYMO Label\DymoOfficeAddIn.dll"

The Add Ins are now installed.
5. Type Exit and press Enter.
o Note: In case the Excel Add In is still not visible:
2. On the Excel toolbar, click Help and click About Microsoft Excel .
The About Microsoft Excel dialog box is displayed.
3. Click Disabled Items.
The Disabled Items dialog box is displayed.
4. Select the DYMO item and click Enable.
5. Click Close.
6. Click OK.
The Excel Add In is now displayed on the toolbar.

To Remove DYMO Office Add Ins - for Vista (note that Word, Outlook and
Excel files are removed together. They cannot be seperately removed):

1. Close all Office applications.
2. Go to Start and type in cmd (do not press enter!)

3. Right-click cmd and select 'Run as Administrator.

The CMD Prompt dialog box is displayed

The Add Ins are now removed.
5. Type Exit and press Enter.
Note: It might occur that the Word Add In icon is still visible on the Word
toolbar, however it is no longer functional.

To remove this from the toolbar, right-click the Word Add In and click
Customize. Drag the icon away from the toolbar. Click Close.

Note: C:\Program Files\DYMO Label\DymoOfficeAddIn.dll is the default
location.
If DLS was installed in another location, than this file path has to be
changed
accordingly.

Please advise the customer Word Add-in Advanced install instructions:

1. Open Word and on the Tools menu, click Customize.
2. On the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box, click Tools.
3. In the Commands list, click the COM Add-Ins command, and then drag the
COM Add-Ins command to a toolbar.
4. In the Customize dialog box, click Close.
5. Click the COM Add-Ins toolbar button that you added in steps 1 through 4.
6. In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, the add-ins that are available (loaded) in
Microsoft Word are listed.
Is the DYMO add-in available?
7. To make a COM add-in available, tick the COM Add-In check box, and then
click OK. When you restart Microsoft Word, Word starts with loading the COM
add-in.

Wilt u alstublieft de stappen hier beneden volgen:

1. Click the COM Add-Ins toolbar button
2. Click the button "toevoegen".
3. Browse to C:\Program Files\DYMO Label\ and select the file
DymoOfficeAddIn.dll
4. Tick the DYMO COM Add-In check box, and then click OK. When you restart
Microsoft Word, Word starts with loading the COM add-in.
