I don't know all the ins and out of codecs and filters but they're related
in some ways.

A N Y W A Y . . .

I looked around and as far as I can tell the G.726 codec that works on XP is
the only G.726 codec available for Windows Vista.

I found what was suppose to be a work around, but that did not work either.

So the only solution I could come up with (other than learning to code and
writing the codec myself, I came across some source code for that might help
in writing your own G.726 codec)...

VLAN 0.9.9 can handle G.726. I tried it and it works. That .asf file you
sent had some guy walking into someone's house. You better call the cops,
he looked kind of suspicious. (joking)
