When I attempted to open IE (and system restore) I got pop up that IE was
incountered a problem and need to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
The the debug and send error report stuff. I sent the error reports in.
The System Restore sent up the same basic pop up.
I tried the Intenet Options Control Panel and reset it yesterday with no
change (except losing all my personal data...oh well). When I did the -no
home -extoff through Run, I got IE to open to connecting but I got the
closing pop up every time I tried do go to a website.
Amyway, I saw a post that came in after mione about uninstalling MS Update
and realized after reading it that I had missed the uninstall for 969897
whuich was the IE update. I did the uninstall for that one and now IE works
again.
But I am not sure what to do about letting any of the June Auto Updates be
reinstalled. Should I try going through the Windows Update website and
install all but the IE one???
